The winner of the Challenger Green & Digital 2022 is DEVS!
The grand finale of the Challenger Green & Digital acceleration program, Demo Day, took place on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 in Bratislava. In the premises of The Spot, 7 startups presented their solutions in front of investors, experts and the general public. The winner was the startup DEVS, which brings an innovative solution for developers and architects. DEVS offers increased efficiency and creativity in building design using innovative computational design and artificial intelligence.
The winner was decided by an international jury that participated in Demo Day, consisting of Andrea Lauren from Rockaway Capital, Peter Csillag from HunBAN, Michael Schuster from the Speedinvest fund and Martin Banský from the Venture to Future Fund. After long decision making, the jury agreed on the winner of the main prize, which was the startup DEVS. The main prize for the winner was participation in the investment process with the Venture to Future Fund, with an investment starting at EUR 500,000. Startups also competed for the People’s Choice Award, which was services from partners Majerník and Miháliková, .out of spacetime Agency and AutoPalace Bratislava, worth EUR 5,000. The audience decided that the startup DEVS won this award as well.

This year’s Demo Day ended the third year of the Challenger Green & Digital acceleration program. Challenger is a 3-month program for budding startups in the field of green and digital technologies, its goal is to help startups kickstart their business, improve their business model and get closer to customers, partners and investors for further development. During the program, startups have the opportunity to meet Slovak and foreign mentors who support them in their development.
